Covid-19 Response & Relief Aid 2021
TARGET BENEFICIARY
Family Care Support Initiatives
Family Care Support Initiatives
How do we help?
GHCA shows support and concern for individuals or families who need assistance during the pandemic and economic uncertainties. We provide eligible applicants from B40 families with financial aid or in-kind donation to ease their burden.
List of Initiatives:
1.1 Great Heart Covid-19 Relief Aid 2.0
In line with #BenderaPutih in Malaysia, GHCA would like to extend its support to individuals who have raised their white flags through our new initiative, Great Heart COVID-19 Relief Aid 2.0 (GH-CRA 2.0), where we provide one-time cash assistance of RM200 to eligible applicants.
1.2 Hand-in-Hand Family Care Support (Year 2022)
The plight of underprivileged families rarely receives the same amount of attention or exposure from the media and internet as they hardly have access to these channels to highlight their predicament. Therefore, we reach out to this target group by allocating funds and resources to mitigate some of their burden.
1.3 Groceries for the Urban Poor
This initiative is set up to provide groceries aid to urban poor families who are residing nearby our Great Heart Community Centre (GHCC), who were previously supported by our Lunch Box for the Hungry program, and who are now able to cook to support their family. Distribution of the groceries will be conducted once monthly at GHCC, with the signed-up beneficiaries coming over to collect their allocated groceries aid.
How you can help?
Monetary support for the initiatives. RM268,000.00 are required for these initiatives.
