Mr. Balachandran 曾是绘图员，精细工整地为建筑蓝图描线勾勒，整齐、有序，就像他曾经的人生。

而如今，生活的轮廓开始模糊。

他患有白内障多年，视力逐渐退化，眼前的世界越来越模糊，连女儿的脸也快认不清了。
更让人揪心的是，他也被诊断出失智症与精神状况问题，意识逐渐混乱，有时候，连自己是谁都不太确定了。

但他说，他还记得一件事：

“我最小的女儿……她还没结婚，我想亲眼看她找到幸福。”

现在，他和太太住在最小的女儿 Thulasini 家中。Thulasini 是一名刚进入照护中心工作的护士，曾是 Great Vision Charity Association 的受助者，如今扛起照顾年迈父母的责任。其他兄弟姐妹因为经济负担，已无力支援。

而这个家庭，如今的支柱，是一位刚出社会不久的年轻护士。

他们没有多余的钱。太太每日操持家务，默默照顾丈夫的情绪波动与身体退化。Thulasini 一边上班一边照顾，身心俱疲，却从未怨言。

这位年迈父亲的愿望不是去旅行，不是买豪华用品，而是一场眼科手术。

“不是为了我，是为了我太太，也为了我女儿。我还想在她出嫁那天，好好地看她一眼。”
