在彭亨州的偏远乡区，有一群我们常常忽略的人——原住民社区。他们住在靠近大自然的屋子里，生活简单，人与人之间亲近又团结。
但在平静的生活背后，也有不为人知的艰难。
你能想象吗？
一个没有墙、没有屋顶的厕所，几户家庭共用，连最基本的隐私都没有。
这并不是夸张，而是他们每天的现实。
他们的愿望不大，但很重要：
他们希望每个住宅区都能有——
一间有墙、有门的厕所
干净的水源和排水系统
能轮流使用、容易打理
这个小小的改变，可以守护健康，也保住他们的尊严。

A Voice from Deep Within the Forest

In the remote corners of Pahang, nestled close to nature, lives a community we often overlook — the Orang Asli. Their lives are simple, their bonds strong. But behind the peaceful scenery lies a daily struggle we rarely see.

Can you imagine sharing a toilet that has no walls, no roof and no privacy?
This isn’t an exaggeration. For several families, this is their reality.

• A toilet with walls and a door
• Clean water and proper drainage
• A space they can take turns using, with dignity and safety

Such a small change can make a huge difference protecting their health and restoring their sense of self-worth.

That’s why we launched the “One Village, One Toilet” initiative, to help build proper toilets for Orang Asli communities.
