Situation
Mr. Poomalai was born in India but came to Malaysia in 1958. He has been working in a coffee shop, but he was not entitled to EPF and SOCSO benefits as he only obtained a blue registration card recently. His family comprises of four daughters who are married and no longer staying them. And the youngest son who live with them is currently working in the Toyota factory.
At the age of 67 years old Mr. Poomalai has to undergo dialysis 3 times a week. His son fetches him to the dialysis centre every time before heading to work. Mr. Poomalai takes a taxi home after the dialysis session is over. He and his wife rely on the son’s monthly income of RM 1,500.00 for their entire family monthly living expenses.
Our Support
Great Heart Charity Association will provide financial support to Mr. Poomalai to help cover the high cost of dialysis treatment of RM 720 per month up to four month continually.
